Some of the most used technologies today are:
1. Blockchain
2. Robotics
3. Artificial intelligence
4. 3D Printing.
5. Etc...
1. Blockchain.
What is blockchain?Blockchain is a shared system, that is, it is a computer network that greatly facilitates the issue of remaining transactions with due tracking in a particular network that it operates. They are usually used in large companies.
In the blockchain, information is stored periodically and is known as blocks.
Where are blockchains applied?
Blockchains are applied in:
• Registration of operations (cryptocurrencies);
• Transfer of operations (cryptocurrencies);
What is the origin or how did the blockchain come about?
Blockchain was first talked about in 2008, in one of the Biticoin academic articles, Biticoin is one of the largest peer-to-peer electronic financial systems.
2.Robotics.
What is robotics?
Robotics is a branch of technology that encompasses mechanics, electronics and computing, which currently deals with systems composed of machines and automatic mechanical parts and controlled by integrated circuits, making mechanical systems motorized, manually or automatically controlled by electrical circuits.
Machines can be said to be alive, but at the same time they are an imitation of life, they are nothing more than joined wires and mechanisms, all of which together create a robot. More and more people use robots for their tasks. Soon, everything can be controlled by robots. Robots are just machines: they don't dream or feel, let alone get tired. This technology, now adopted by many factories and industries, has generally been successful in raising questions about cost reduction, productivity increase and the various labor problems with employees.
Automation and Robotics.
Automation and robotics are two closely related technologies. In an industrial context we can define automation as a technology that deals with mechanical, electronic and computer-based systems in the production control operation. Hence robotics is a form of industrial automation. There are three types of industrial automation:
• Fixed: Very high production volume.
• Programmable: Relatively low production volume and there is a variety of products to be manufactured.
• Flexible: Medium volume.
Of the three types of automation, robotics most closely coincides with programmable. An industrial robot is a programmable, general-purpose machine that has certain anthropomorphic, or human-like, characteristics.
The robot can be programmed to act in a sequence of movements in order to perform some defined task. It will repeat this movement pattern until it is reprogrammed to perform some other task.
Robotics in science fiction.
Among science fiction writers, Isaac Asimov has contributed numerous stories about robots, starting in 1939, and, in fact, is credited with coining the term “robotics”. The figure of a robot that appears in his work is that of a well-designed, fail-safe machine that acts according to three principles, called by Asimov the Three Laws of Robotics: 1. A robot cannot injure a human being. human, or through inaction, allow a human to be harmed. 2. A robot must obey orders given by humans, except where doing so conflicts with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence, unless this conflicts with the First or Second Law.
